Cheezykart is a food and grocery delivery platform based in Davanagere, Karnataka that helps people in ordering delicious food and grocery online from local vendors to chain restaurants and getting them delivered at their doorstep in a short while.
In most of the food delivery apps, users cannot filter food by category, price, delivery time or rating. Moreover, the apps have a poor keyword searching algorithm. The users are compelled to filter suggestions because they cannot find the correct food suggestions on their screen. In order to solve this issue, we introduced a time-based content suggestion along with the filters mentioned above. This way, a user looking for food in the morning gets breakfast suggestions and at night, dinner items on the first screen itself. This feature helped users to make decisions faster and boosted the number of orders online.
We avoided bright colours and intentionally chose a pure white interface to provide the users with a comfy feel. Also, it helped in elevating the quality images of food used in the app. Seeing quality images of food at the time of craving has been proven to increase buying decisions and thus orders, than trailing out of the app.
Discounts play a crucial role in bringing back users. When users get better offers, they are more likely to order food online than going to restaurants. As a part of this, we added CheezyGold as a subscription feature with lots of extra benefits for gold users in addition to the coupon codes provided for regular users.
Imprinting the company/app logo in users’ mind is vital in marketing a product. Keeping this in mind, we designed a simple logo which depicts the name and nature of the app by combining “Cheese + Go-kart” and “Food + Fast delivery”. We feature the logo in the app icons too.
